A Country Mile is an evening of harrowing tales of a Black military family’s journey across the American terrain of the 2nd half of the 20th century. Miles Brenton contextualizes experiences of his grandparents, Margaret and Andrew, amid major cultural events; accompanying family stories with soul-stirring songs to pay homage the invaluable roles of everyday Americans in the country’s highest and lowest moments.
